If you haven’t seen them on TV yet, 
are these nifty little hair accessories that look like two hair combs connected with a bunch of little bungee cords. You put one of the combs in your hair on one side of your head, then you stretch the little cords around to the other side and insert the other comb. Then you draw it all up in a cute little ponytail. At least it looks that easy when they show it on TV.
But I have enough hair for three people. Probably four now, since it’s been a while since I’ve had it cut. Hairdressers run for the back when they see me walk through the door. But according to the commercial, EZ Combs would work for any type of hair. Wanting desperately to believe there might be a cute hair accessory out there that I could use like everybody else does, I went ahead and placed the order. I was really surprised when I opened the package. I received:
- One each – Caramel, Silver and Black beaded EZ Combs. Two very cute combs with pretty beading on the combs in the criss-crossing bungee bands. Can be with the cords straight or twisted for a pretty butterfly effect.
- One How-To DVD – A How-To DVD that shows you how to use the combs and then gives you a lot of styling ideas.
Honestly, I was very doubtful when I opened the package. You have to see my hair to believe it. It’s long, extremely thick, and very curly. The only thing I’ve found to date that will hold my hair up is a very large, very heavy clip – you know the kind. They stick up out of the back of your head so it’s impossible to lie down when you’re using one.
The EZ Combs just didn’t seem strong enough to hold all my hair. And in fact, the very first one I tried broke before I even got it stretched from one side to the other. However, I think it was because I was using it wrong so be sure to watch the DVD first.
After I watched the How-To DVD I didn’t have any more problems and even with my extra thick hair I was able to easily do several of the styles they showed and I’ve never had any more problems. I even use the EZ Combs to hold my hair back when I go to the gym and when I go jogging.
As for my EZ Combs review and whether or not I would recommend them for others, I certainly would. In fact, they can be worn for any occasion so I recommend them to all my friends. I’ve even recommended them to several of my friends who are getting married because they make a perfect hair accessory for all the bridesmaids. No matter how long or how thick their hair is, they can all use the same accessory and style their hair however they choose.
