Using an airbrush to apply makeup isn’t a new concept. Professional makeup artists have been doing it for years. But it’s only recently that these systems have become available for home use, and one of the newest products is by Luminess. So my Luminess Tan Review’s for the Luminess Airbrush Makeup Kit.
The Luminess system is for those of you trying to achieve a flawless, matte finish to your makeup – similar to what you see on the models on the cover of magazines. If you’ve ever looked closely at those covers, you see that the models have a perfect complexion and there’s not a single flaw in their makeup. Keep in mind that a matte finish is not shiny-looking at all in order to achieve those perfect looking results. If you’re used to a shinier finish with your makeup, then you at first think that your face appears dry.
My starter kit came with the basic airbrush that operates at one speed. If you want an adjustable airbrush for even more control, you’ll have to buy the more expensive kit. Included in the kit that I ordered were:

The makeup seemed very small, but then again it doesn’t take much when you use the airbrush, and one of the problems that people run into is that they over apply, and then the makeup just gets too heavy and melts right off their face. With the airbrush, less is more.
